The New Nobility

The New Nobility

The New Nobility is an ongoing project in which the Guild of Gentlemen acts as the authority over which a new system of nobility is enacted. This is a long thought out and carefully updated project. We seek purely to do what is right, just and good and we take the authority over the culture and civilization of Europe and the European diaspora incredibly seriously.

This page will be updated as this project develops.

Cor nobile, cor immobile

"A noble heart, is an immovable heart."

While the inner cities across the Western world are in ruin, the small-town people, the villages, the rural people, they still hold on to the much of the greatness that our civilization once embraced. Perhaps that’s a sign that there was a crack in the foundation of European culture and civilization pre-revolution. Once the nobility was no longer in power our world took a noticeable turn for the worse. We saw rampant degeneracy, licentiousness, immorality and a complete rejection of once common values spread like a wildfire.

Yet, while we still had the nobility, there was far less respect for the average family in comparison to that of the nobility.

It wasn’t the hatred that we find today for families, but it wasn’t an admiration worthy of being given the right of nobility either.

The reason for the gap in terms of respect is that the entire idea of nobility is that the most moral of people are a minority and not the majority. Which is certainly an observable truth. To have that moral minority lead is obviously the best method possible. As for passing their nobility onward, who better to raise virtuous children than virtuous parents? That was the founding plan. The whole idea and process makes perfect sense! Somewhere along the line, the value of beauty became the worldly value of wealth and greed. Wealth is not inherently bad, but the love of worldly wealth is.

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." - 1 Timothy 6:10

Values were replaced with valuables! Being noble was replaced with being a noble and therefore, ignoble. It became more about prestige and putting on a show than actually passing on the torch of responsibility, humility and leadership by example. That's why when their system was threatened, they couldn't defend it against the lowly, rat-like revolutionaries that destroyed it. Their rights of nobility became meaningless, some of them were martyred and most are completely forgotten! Outside of the remnants of their family, their name is rarely even whispered. In fact, the only mention of them outside the church is in grotesque, fictional examples shown by Netflix or a feminist author writing a book about a girl-boss. Lord have mercy.

The nobility lived as the pinnacle of European civilization. Why now do we find that those who are outside the hotbed of civilization are often more moral, more decent, more kind, more traditional and certainly more Christian? Perhaps it's because there isn't an obvious noble class to compare them to. Regardless, we have what we have today and should build forward. We know that our society is sick and growing more so by the day and while that observation is true, it's not the answer to our goal here.

The common peasant or serf of yesterday was more noble than any rich businessman or landlord of today. There is something rather noble about the simple-living people of then and now. If you’ve read Tolkien, you know this quote:

“Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay… small acts of kindness and love.”

I’ve found the same truth to be ever evident. A new project of the Guild is focused at establishing a new nobility. While respecting and knowing our past, the Guild of Gentlemen aims to pave the way for the future. We take this role and specifically this project very seriously. Remember that Monarchy is the only form of government where the leader is elected with a sacrament. The nobility was always correlated with royalty and so also with the sacrament. No matter the level of connection we can point out, the fact that this project shouldn't be taken lightly is undoubtedly true.

We'll keep you posted as this project progresses. God bless you and keep you forever.
